The Future of Health Care

Something amazing has been happening that promises to revolutionize health care. Four years ago, Dr. Fabrizio Mancini introduced an internship program at a hospital in the state of Mexico for his Texas college students.

Over the next few years something interesting happened. 80% of all services were now being performed by the interns and, because the patients were getting better much faster, the hospital discovered that the overall cost of treating patients dropped in half.

What will be most surprising for you to know is that the interns are chiropractic students. In fact, because 95% of the bill for treating patients in Mexico is covered by the government, Mexico's Secretary of Health now wants chiropractors in every hospital in Mexico.

Here is something else that happened. Medical doctors worked well with the chiropractors and wanted to know how else the chiropractors could help the patients. The Head of Pediatrics for the hospital was so impressed with the chiropractors that he required all newborns to be checked by the chiropractors immediately after birth so that the kids could minimize any of the trauma caused by the birth process..

Here in the U.S., it was reported that only 2% of medical students are going into general practice, and more and more general practitioners are either cutting back or retiring. This is creating a huge deficit in medical doctors as primary care physicians. Did you know that chiropractors are considered primary care? Can you imagine what would happen if everyone started going to chiropractors first? Could it also cut the costs of health care in half here in America?

If you do not have a relationship with a chiropractor, maybe it's time to start one. There are many wonderful chiropractors in our community. Call one up and make an appointment today.
